A long rectangular tray in woven resin wicker, grey, sized for the folded guest towels used in a washroom or beside a drinks table. The weave is plastic rather than natural seagrass, which is the point — it lives in a damp room without warping or going soft.

A stack of guest towels left on a counter spreads, gets damp at the edges and stops looking like an offer. In a tray they stay squared, lifted off the surface, and read as something laid out for you rather than left there.

It is not only for towels. The same shape takes bread rolls at a table, cutlery at a buffet, or soap and a folded cloth at a basin. Wipe it clean; nothing about it needs care beyond that.

  • Woven resin wicker: survives a damp room, unlike natural fibre
  • Long rectangle: sized for folded guest towels
  • Keeps a stack squared: towels stop spreading
  • Lifted off the surface: edges stay dry
  • Also bread or cutlery: the shape is not single-purpose
  • Wipe clean: no other care
