Trays & Boards
Trays and boards in acacia, bamboo, rattan and glass — serving trays, compartment trays, display sets and napkin trays.
Tray or board?
A tray has a raised edge, so it carries — drinks, a breakfast, anything that could slide. A board is flat, so it serves: cheese, bread, charcuterie, something cut at the table. Most households need one of each and buy two of the same.
Why a compartment tray?
It keeps things that should not touch from touching. Snacks, dips, olives and nuts in one tray stay separate without four small bowls to wash, which is most of the appeal for anything served while standing.
How should wood be cared for?
Hand wash, dry immediately standing on edge, and never leave it to soak or put it in a dishwasher — wood warps and splits when it soaks and then dries fast. Oil it occasionally with a food-safe mineral oil once the surface starts to look dry. Rattan should be wiped only, never washed — it absorbs water through the weave and will not dry out from the inside.
