Disposable Cutlery
Disposable cutlery in heavyweight plastic and natural wood, loose and pre-rolled in napkins, in counts from 25 up to 400.
What does pre-rolled mean, and is it worth it?
A fork, knife and spoon wrapped in a napkin and tied, ready to place. It costs more per setting and saves the hour otherwise spent rolling them, which is why it is standard at catered events. For a seated party it also makes each place look composed.
Plastic or wood?
Heavyweight plastic is more rigid and handles cutting better. Birch and bamboo cutlery is the compostable choice and looks more natural on a rustic table, but it flexes under pressure, so it suits food that does not need cutting.
How much should I order?
One full setting per guest, plus roughly fifteen per cent. People set cutlery down mid-meal and take fresh pieces, and dessert often needs a clean spoon. Pre-rolled sets are counted per setting, loose packs per piece, so read which unit the count refers to before comparing two listings.
