Butterfly Underglaze Ceramic Plates

Whimsical enough for dessert, elegant enough for steak

Most dinnerware is either too plain to notice or too busy to live with. This set finds the rare middle: a single hand-painted butterfly drifting across indigo florals, sealed under the glaze so it reads as art, not pattern. Set it down and the table feels a little more thought-through — playful at brunch, quietly elegant at dinner. Build your own combination across four sizes and your place settings look collected, like something you'd find in a design boutique rather than a big-box aisle.

Why you'll love it

• Butterfly and floral underglaze motif — the art lives beneath the glaze, so it never fades or scratches and still looks gallery-fresh after years of washing.
• Four forms, one cohesive look — flat plate, deep plate and two bowl sizes, so you can dress a full table or just grab the right piece for the course.
• Weighty, chip-resistant pottery — substantial in the hand the way good ceramics should be, so it feels well-made, not disposable.
• Genuinely versatile — starters, mains, pasta, dips and desserts, so a few pieces cover most of how you eat.
• Lead-free, food-safe glaze — safe under everything you serve, and pretty enough to leave out as a small piece of decor.

Mix and match for yourself, or give a couple of pieces as a gift that feels personal and considered — the kind people actually keep on the shelf.
