Pink Check Enamel Storage Canister with Glass Knob

Most kitchen canisters are meant to be tucked away. This one is meant to be seen: a hand-painted pink-and-white check, a gold-tone label plate and a clear faceted glass knob on the lid.

It is enamelled steel with a fitted lid, sized for the things you reach for every day: espresso, ground coffee, loose-leaf tea, sugar or sweets. Away from the kitchen, it is just as good for cotton pads, buttons, beads or hair ties on a dresser.

Made for coffee bars, cottage and romantic kitchens, and as a wedding, housewarming or Christmas gift that starts a collection.

• Finish: hand-painted pink-and-white check enamel.
• Lid: fitted lid with a clear glass knob.
• Detail: gold-tone label plate on the front.
• Use: coffee, tea, sugar, sweets or small keepsakes.
