The Verona pattern is moulded into the rim rather than printed, so it catches light the way porcelain does and holds up at eye level when a guest lifts the bowl. At 12 oz each takes a proper serving of soup or a salad course, and the plastic is rigid enough that a full bowl does not flex against the fingers carrying it.
