Double-walled, which does two jobs at once: the ice lasts because the cold is not drawn out through the metal, and the outside stays dry because there is no cold surface for the room to condense on. A single-wall bucket makes a ring on the table within ten minutes.
The ice barrier is the insert most buckets leave out. It holds the ice above the meltwater so what you lift out with the tongs is ice rather than a wet lump, and the drink does not get a splash of warm water with it.
304 stainless does not rust or pit from repeated wetting. Four sizes: 1.3 and 1.6 litres for a table, 2 and 3 litres for a party, with the carry versions handled for moving between rooms.
