Fifty guests, one box, and nothing left to wash. This combo lays a complete setting at every seat — dinner plate, salad plate, tumbler, napkin, fork, spoon and knife — and the whole lot goes in the bin when the last guest leaves.

The plates are moulded from heavyweight food-safe plastic, rigid enough to carry a loaded roast dinner across a garden without buckling at the rim, and finished with two fine silver bands that read as real china from across the table. The cutlery is mirror-polished on a slender curved handle with a scalloped tail; the forks are four-tined and the knives are serrated, so they cut rather than tear. The tumblers hold a generous 300 ml and take a cold drink or a poured wine equally well.

Sized for a wedding reception, a milestone birthday, a catered lunch or a holiday table that has outgrown the dishwasher. Whatever you do not open keeps flat in the box for the next occasion.
