A 200 ml borosilicate cup with a double wall, finished in pink and white. The two walls trap a layer of air between them, so the outside stays cool enough to hold while the drink inside stays hot longer than it would in a single-walled glass.

Two hundred millilitres is a small, deliberate measure — an espresso with milk, a short flat white, a tea you intend to drink hot rather than nurse. A larger cup would defeat the insulation by giving the drink time to go cold.

Borosilicate rather than ordinary glass, which is why it tolerates boiling water without the thermal shock that cracks a tumbler. The two-tone finish means it works as a piece on an open shelf as well as in the hand.
