Peeling a kiwi with a knife wastes fruit and leaves your hands sticky, and scooping it with a spoon leaves ragged halves. This tool skips both: cut the kiwi in half, push the ring down into the fruit, and the flesh lifts out of the skin already cut into wedges.
A green ABS ring holds stainless steel wire loops that cross underneath it. As you press the ring into a kiwi half, the wires follow the inside of the skin and divide the fruit as they go. A small serrated green blade comes with it and stores in the centre of the ring when not in use.
