Christmas Disposable Tablecloths, 54 x 108 in, 2-Pack

Two disposable plastic tablecloths, each 54 x 108 in — sized for a rectangular table up to 8 ft — in a red checkered design with snowflakes and Christmas trees.

Fifty-four by a hundred and eight is the measurement to check before buying any tablecloth, and it is where most disposable ones disappoint. On an 8 ft table this leaves a short, neat overhang rather than the few inches that make a cloth look undersized.

Two in the pack is the sensible count for a Christmas table. One covers the dining table, the other covers the side table where the food and drinks actually go — which is the surface that takes the real damage and the one people forget to cover.

Plastic rather than paper means spills bead and wipe rather than soak through to the table, which at a Christmas meal is the whole point. They are suitable for indoor and outdoor use, and they go in the bin afterwards.

• 54 x 108 in: a proper overhang on an 8 ft table
• Two in the pack: the dining table and the side table
• Plastic: spills bead rather than soak through
• Red check with snowflakes: festive without being a cartoon
• Indoor or outdoor: as stated by the maker
• Single use: straight into the bin
