Garden Embossed Stoneware Dinnerware Set, 12-Piece, Green

Twelve pieces of stoneware for four in dark green — four 10.5 in dinner plates, four 8 in salad plates and four 6 in bowls holding 22 oz, with a relief design and a reactive glaze.

Embossing and a reactive glaze together do something neither does alone. The relief catches light and gives the surface depth; the reactive glaze then pools in the recesses and thins on the raised parts, so the pattern is picked out in a slightly different shade on every piece.

Dark green is the practical half of the choice. It hides cutlery marks and the faint scuffs that show immediately on white, which is why an earth-toned set still looks new after a year of daily meals.

Three pieces per place covers a seated meal. The 22 oz bowl is large enough for soup and pasta rather than only cereal, and the set is microwave and dishwasher safe and stated scratch resistant.
