Tongue Out Ceramic Novelty Mug, 350 ml
Tongue Out Ceramic Novelty Mug, 350 ml
The joke works because the mug underneath is real. At 350 ml this is a full-size everyday mug, not a novelty too small to be useful — which is what decides whether a gift like this gets used or shelved.
The face is a cartoon tongue-out expression, which lands differently depending on where it sits: on a desk at work it is a running joke, in a kitchen it is the mug guests pick up and comment on. Either way it starts a conversation, and that is the whole point of buying it for someone.
It is durable ceramic, so it survives daily use and washing rather than being a gift that chips in a month. Good as a secret santa, a birthday joke or a leaving present.
