Disposable Napkins
Paper napkins in cocktail, luncheon, guest-towel and dinner sizes, printed and plain, in counts from 20 to 100.
What are the standard napkin sizes?
Folded, a cocktail or beverage napkin is around 5 in, a luncheon napkin around 6.5 in, and a dinner napkin larger again. Guest towels are the long, narrow ones intended for a washroom or a drinks table rather than a plate.
How many should I buy?
More than feels necessary. Three to four per guest at a standing event, two to three at a seated meal. Napkins are the item most often run out of and the cheapest to over-order.
Ply or print — which matters more?
Ply, if the napkin is going to be used. Two- and three-ply hold up to a drink being wiped; single-ply printed napkins are effectively decorative. For a themed table, buy the printed ones and keep plain ply napkins in reserve.
