Fifty clear plastic cups, 300 ml to the brim — about 10 US fl oz — finished with a gold band at the rim.

Three hundred millilitres is the useful size at a party, and it is a deliberate middle. A 6 oz cup needs refilling before a conversation finishes; a 16 oz cup half-filled looks mean and tips easily on a crowded table. At 10 oz a single pour of wine, punch or a soft drink fills the cup properly.

The body is rigid polystyrene rather than soft film, which is the difference that shows when a guest is holding a plate in the other hand: a rigid cup takes the grip without flexing and without the squeak a thin cup makes.
