Plastic tubs on the counter never look like they belong in a farmhouse kitchen. This galvanized canister does: a mottled silver finish, a round lid with an arched metal handle, and the worn, industrial look of an old dairy tin.

It holds about 0.88 litres and measures roughly 11.5 cm across and 12.7 cm tall. Under the lid, a BPA-free silicone gasket runs around the rim to help keep air and moisture away from dry food.
