Colour Stripe Paper Napkins with Flatware Pocket, 25-Pack

Twenty-five white paper napkins, each carrying a single coloured stripe and folded into a pocket for flatware. Choose gold, purple, blue or red.

One stripe on white is the cheapest way to put a colour on a table without committing the table to it. A fully coloured napkin has to agree with the plates, the cloth and the flowers; a white napkin with a band of colour only has to agree with one of them, and the white does the rest of the work.

It is also the way to tie in a colour you already have. Match the stripe to the cake, the flowers or a child's party theme, and the setting reads as planned rather than as bought.

The pocket arrives folded, so a place setting is one movement: drop the cutlery in and lay it down.
