Ceramic Kung Fu Tea Cup

The size is the whole design. Kung fu brewing is a sequence of very short infusions from a small pot, each one poured out completely and drunk in a mouthful or two — so the cup has to be small or the method does not work.

That is also why a cup like this reveals a tea that a mug hides. Each infusion of a good oolong or pu'er tastes different from the last, and drinking 200 ml at a time averages all of them into one flavour.
