Disposable Dinnerware Sets

Coordinated disposable dinnerware sets in plastic and paper — from a table of twenty-five up to eight hundred pieces for a hundred guests.

How do I work out which set size I need?

Count guests, not pieces. Plan two plates and two to three cups per guest for a meal with dessert, and a full cutlery setting plus about fifteen per cent. The guest count a set states is far more useful than its piece count, because piece counts include napkins at wildly different ratios.

What makes a disposable set look deliberate?

Three things: two plate sizes rather than one, a metallic or contrasting rim, and cutlery that matches the rim rather than being clear. A single plate size forces guests to reuse a plate between courses, which is where a large table starts to look chaotic.

Paper or plastic?

Plastic is more rigid, so a loaded plate stays flat when it is carried one-handed — which matters most at a standing event. Paper takes a printed pattern far better, so it is the choice for a themed table. Compostable moulded pulp sits between the two and handles hot and oily food best.
