They are too tall for a drawer and they slump in a cupboard, so they usually live in the packet they came in, on a shelf, falling over. This puts them under the cabinet where nothing else is using the space.

The stem adjusts, so the same holder takes 8.5, 9 or 10 in plates rather than only the size you bought last. The body is a single whole bamboo panel instead of several pieces joined — the joined kind is what works loose at the screws after a year of plates being pulled out of it.

Mounted under a cabinet it is invisible from the room and reachable without opening anything, which is the entire argument for putting it there instead of in a cupboard.

Mounts under a cabinet: uses space nothing else is using

Adjustable stem: takes 8.5, 9 or 10 in plates

One whole bamboo panel: no joins to work loose at the screws

Out of sight: invisible from the room

One-handed: reach up and pull, no door to open

Solid bamboo: stiff enough to hold a full stack

Details

Includes

One under-cabinet plate dispenser

Material

Solid bamboo

Colour

Natural bamboo

Fits

Paper plates 8.5, 9 and 10 in

Care

Wipe clean with a dry cloth; keep dry

Paper plates and mounting surface shown are not included.
